This anthology of choral works by Pacific Northwest composers represents the diverse cultural, social, and geographical influences of the region. Nearly half of the works were composed especially for Opus 7; many are world-premiere recordings. - Opus 7, one of the nation's finest choral ensembles, received three consecutive "Award for Adventurous Programming" from Chorus America. - Loren Pontén, its Founder and Artistic Director, has been an active conductor in the Pacific Northwest for over 25 years.
