Enrico Gatti's eighth Arcana recording marks the debut recording of his Ensemble Aurora in the role of string quartet. This program's journey back to the roots of string quartet writing and counterpoint is the result of years of research and discoveries. According to Mr. Gatti, "the fugue unveils the sense of a conversation...the instruments renounce their individuality to blend together in spiritual transcendence".
