Notes & Reviews:

It was only on very rare occasions that the Mozarts, father and son, had praise to spare for their composing colleagues. Amongst the few about whom they spoke favorably were Johann Christian Bach and Giovanni Marco Rutini. On this recording, Luca Guglielmi and Concerto Madrigalesco present works of both of these composers that bear eloquent witness to this appraisal.

American Record Guide, November/December 2014
My favorite works on this recording are a pair of Giovanni Marco Rutini's fortepiano sonatas. They are beautifully arranged for keyboard - in that respect, they remind me of Domenico Scarlatti's more lyrical sonatas. Guglielmi plays this music with clarity, color, and sweet sensitivity.
