Notes & Reviews:

The Brodsky Quartet is joined by the soprano Susana Cordón in the premiere recording of the chamber oratorio A Mortuis Resurgere by the contemporary Spanish composer Jorge Grundman. Featuring Grundman's trademark contemplative harmonies and expressive writing, this work of remarkable accessibility tells the story of the Resurrection of Christ.

American Record Guide, November/December 2014
A Mortuis Resuregere (The Resurrection of Christ) (2013) is a kind of oratorio-cantata of the resurrection story from the Gospel of St John and set in Latin for soprano and string quartet. It is meant as a complement to Haydn's Seven Last Words of Christ, which was intended as orchestral interludes between Good Friday sermons.
