Notes & Reviews:

Friedrich Gulda was an unusual personality. His performing career spanned both classical and jazz, and as a teacher, he was a tremendous influence on many of the 20th Century’s greatest pianists. A fine performer in his own right, Gulda gave his Carnegie Hall début at the age of 20, and is considered one of the most important interpreters of the postwar period. This SACD remaster from Praga offers listeners a sampling of Gulda’s superb artistry.
