Notes & Reviews:

American Record Guide, November/December 2014
As the variety of this program attests, their repertoire is quite varied, and they certainly perform everything well. They deliver a robust account of a short Christmas mass by Charpentier, complete with recorders and basso continuo, showing off some fine individual voices while they're at it. There's a lovely Bruckner motet and winning original compositions by the likes of Malcolm Archer and Gabriel Jackson. There are a good many traditional carols, usually in very pleasing, sometimes jazz-tinged arrangements. The ensemble also gives pleasant voice to the pop side of American Christmas traditions with a couple of non-classical standards. They're quite well recorded.
