Ensembles

Notes & Reviews:

Exuberant political works that incorporate Plains Indian music, with Beat poetry, and high energy jazz. First new Kitzke album in 15 years. Features ETHEL.

American Record Guide, November/December 2014
At 37 minutes it dominates the album's runtime and demands attention from the listener. Every performer is included in the chanting and vocalizations, and these range from single grunts to full-on mental breakdowns. The texts are a mash-up of anti-war sentiments, and the music matches and amplifies their physicality and sentimentality.
