Notes & Reviews:
Wergo's Thinking of... is an homage to the double-bass player Stefano Scodanibbio, who died in 2012. It features eleven bass players, each recorded separately with ten different sound engineers in seven different countries. The first part of the album features the title work by Sebastian Gramss, who also produced the album and is one of the players. The second part of the album is a collection of eleven solos in which the players share their personal connections to Scodanibbio's work. The album ends with a live recording of a duo by Scodanibbio and Gramss from the Altstadtherbst Festival in Düsseldorf in 2008.
