Notes & Reviews:

Evgenia Rubinova is one of the most impressive pianists of the new generation. In 2003 she followed in the footsteps of the likes of Mitsuko Uchida and Lars Vogt by winning the Silver Medal at the renowned Leeds International Pianoforte Competition. Unanimously hailed by audiences and the press for her bold personality and musical imagination, her “power of personal expression proved its worth in a superior balance of extremes” (Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung); “...an absolutely colossal performance by an absolutely extraordinary pianist!” (Artur Pizzaro, BBC Television). Rubinova’s début CD, released on the EMI label, was rated top-notch by reviewers on an international scale.
