Notes & Reviews:

BBC Music Magazine, February 2015
Oistrakh's ravishing Tchaikovsky can still be breathtaking. He combines irrepressible momentum with potent sweetness.

Melodiya presents another CD with records of David Oistrakh, a great violinist of the 20th century. The CD includes classic 19th-century Russian concertos by Pyotr Tchaikovsky and Alexander Glazunov. The violinist is accompanied by the USSR State Symphony Orchestra directed by a prominent conductor Kirill Kondrashin. The records were made in 1945 - 1957, during the golden age of the great musician's concert performance.
