Joyce Lindorff is one of the most eminent Early Music specialists in the U.S. Her 1994 recording of Alessandro Poglietti's (d. 1683) "Rossignolo" remains the only complete version available; this is its first worldwide release. "Rossignolo" is one of the most important cycles in the keyboard literature, despite it being unknown to most listeners. New York-based Ms. Lindorff has performed throughout the US, Europe, Russia, Japan and China. She has performed with the early music ensembles Hesperus, Tempesta di Mare, Newberry Consort, Charbonnier Viol Ensemble, and the Waverly Consort.Notes & Reviews:
