Notes & Reviews:

Financial Times, 18th October 2014
Ashkenazy, playing a standard grand piano, is a no-nonsense interpreter. Performances are crisp and clear, never sentimentalised, and capture the freshness of the music as if he has found a new love.

BBC Music Magazine, April 2015
He's careful not to make an over-expressive meal of the Sarabande, and the spiky Gigue is pertly pointed, but the tongue-in-cheek Echo sounds as if played through gritted teeth.
