Notes & Reviews:

Bulgarian clarinetist Petko Radev, principal clarinet of the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, was principal clarinet of La Scala Orchestra from 1974 to 1985 and has enjoyed an international reputation and career.

American Record Guide, January/February 2015
The Bulgarian musicians stand at the other end of the spectrum. Their approach is more direct. Radev sports a fragile tone and a mechanical vibrato; and while he makes nice color changes from time to time, he shows little interest in structure or expressive shape. Nikolov has a decent dynamic range, he rarely adds much to the music. The keyboard playing is technically sound.
