Notes & Reviews:

Gramophone Magazine, November 2014
Despite the fact that Renaud Capucon plays with a full-blooded tone, it is rare to hear him overblow, either in Bach or - as here - in more robust repertoire. Rather, there is a calmness to his sense of melody that has a tendency to give his performances identity enough.

BBC Music Magazine, Christmas 2014
For much of the time Caputon and Buniatishvili are alive to the tinest detail...Their approach may risk seeming indulgent, but is utterly convincing in the moment with so many hair-raising details...this is enthralling playing and nicely recorded.
