Notes & Reviews:

This new Skarbo production adds to the ongoing edition project of complete works by French composer Aubert Lemeland (1932-2010). One of the most important French composer of these last 30 years, his considerable uvre of 280 compositions includes 2 operas, 14 symphonies, important cycles for voice and orchestra, concerti and numerous instrumental and chamber music pieces. The present recording is devoted to piano works, performed by one of his favorite interpreters, Jean-Pierre Ferey, who is also the dedicatee and/or first performer of the major portion of the program.
