Having slipped into label boss and talent scout with two Meet the Orphans releases, reggaeton star Don Omar had not issued a new, truly solo album since 2009's iDon. This 2015 LP goes so far as to reference his 2003 debut, which is fine, since The Last Don, Vol. 2 reaches those debut album heights, stuffing its track list with hits and no filler. "Soledad," "Guaya Guaya," and "Yo Soy de Aqui" all sit on the man's top shelf, and with a guest list that includes Tego Calderón, Daddy Yankee, plus Wisin & Yandel, the satisfying album is star-studded as well. ~ David Jeffries
