Notes & Reviews:

The distinguished pianist Sergey Schepkin, one of today’s foremost interpreters of J.S. Bach’s keyboard works, marks his Steinway & Sons label debut with a double CD offering coupling Bach’s complete French Suites and two Fantasia & Fugues. In 2001, Int’l Piano magazine selected his recording of Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier I as one of the finest ever. His second recording, Bach’s Goldberg Variations, released in Japan in 2010, was nominated ‘Editor’s Choice’ by Geijutsu arts magazine. A global concertizing artist, Mr. Schepkin is tenured Assoc. Prof. of Piano at Carnegie Mellon.

American Record Guide, March/April 2015
I'm satisfied: an abundance of singing, connected bass lines more than compensates. I'm looking forward to his WTC and hope it comes sooner rather than later.
