Out of all the Brady Bunch albums, The Phonographic Album is the weakest. It follows the same formula as its predecessors, but the tunes aren't quite so catchy and the songs aren't quite so campy. Nevertheless, kitsch fanatics will find its very ordinariness quite fascinating. The 1996 compact disc reissue contains a handful of bonus tracks taken from the Chris Knight and Maureen McCormick duet album, which make the CD debut here. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
