Diana Ross: Last Time I Saw Him

Album Notes

Originally issued in 1973, LAST TIME I SAW HIM marked the end of the highly prolific first phase of Diana Ross's solo career on Motown. Released the same year as TOUCH ME IN THE MORNING and DIANA & MARVIN, a record of duets with Marvin Gaye, LAST TIME was overshadowed by both albums, but still stands as a fine addition to the revered R&B performer's catalogue. Highlights of the smooth, pop-oriented set include the breezy title track and the string-laden "Sleepin'." Available on CD for the first time in 2007, the expanded edition features a bonus disc with songs such as the funky "Why Play Games" and the horn-tinged "I Want to Go Back There Again," making it essential for diehard Ross fans.
