greatest of the decade
every so often, an album comes along that is the very best in its genre. this album is the very best in roots/americana/classic country. it has a real rockabilly feel to it, you might say "ventures guitar goes rockabilly". seek this release out at all costs, a masterwork of a rare album issued by art greenhaw records of texas. this album brings together the light crust doughboys, ventures guitarist nokie edwards, european guitarist robert shumy. it is simply an aural delight, the songs are perfect. if you think they don't make records like they used to, listen here. standouts are mystery train, so round/so firm, big boss man, why me lord. run, don't walk to order this rarity. and seek out all the other nokie edwards records on the indie art greenhaw label. it's like finding another sun records company or another doton records company.
