Four years after Reprise dropped her from their roster, Vonda Shepard independently released her third album, It's Good Eve. During that time, Shepard didn't change her style, but she did refine and perfect it. Song for song, It's Good Eve may not match her debut, but it comes close, and it will certainly be enjoyable for anyone who discovered her either at the outset of her career or when she was featured on Ally McBeal. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
