American Record Guide, July/August 2015
Formed to explore unusual works, the McCormick Percussion Group is always looking for something new to try. The percussion ensemble immediately becomes an expansive, multi-person drum cage. The sounds are connected, bowed percussion rings solidly, and I imagine the performers were able to have a bit more fun during the recording process owing to the style.
