Album Remarks & Appraisals:
In 1984, Helmut Engel-Musehold founded the Silent Jazz Ensemble with Gebhard Ullmann and Volker Heller; he later became the conductor of the ensemble. In 1989, their debut CD was released, and then two additional CDs were produced with different band members and the ensemble became one of the most successful German music groups in the genre of jazz. Now, for this new album, Helmut has found two congenial partners in Italian bassist Roberto Badoglio and the American drummer Ray Kaczynski.
