Notes & Reviews:

The Concerto Copenhagen has advanced to the rank of one of the world's leading original instrument ensembles, their success owing in large part to charismatic music director Lars Ulrik Mortensen. His interpretations completely refrain from supercharged tempos or unmotivated against-the-grain readings, unlike many of his early-music scene colleagues. Before commencing further keyboard concerto recordings to follow on from previous cpo releases, they here present the complete violin concertos and the Double Concerto for Violin and Oboe with soloists Manfredo Kraemer and Fredrik From.

American Record Guide, July/August 2015
Concerto Copenhagen is a period-performance- practice group. Theirs is one of the most interesting approaches to this music that I have heard. The A-minor Concerto, with Fredrik From playing the solo, is the most stylish performance. I always say that articulation is the most important aspect of interpreting baroque and classical music, and his articulation in this concerto is very carefully thought out. The solo parts of the Double Concerto are played by Peter Spissky and Bjarte Eike, who are very good and do a fine job in the beautiful Largo. Manfredo Kraemer plays the violin solo in the Violin and Oboe Concerto, and Antoine Torunczyk plays the oboe. Torunczyk's tone is very clear and sometimes reminds me of a trumpet. Concerto Copenhagen is a fine, and the sound is very good.
