Notes & Reviews:

The Guardian, 2nd April 2015
[Yi's] super-refined delivery works wonderfully against Yuriy Mynenko's persuasively virile athleticism. Xavier Sabata is the least overtly flamboyant of the five, though his dark alto and exceptional psychological insight make his arias, by Handel and Porpora, particularly outstanding.

Decca's new release brings together five of the world's most renowned countertenors, who bring the rich world of baroque opera to life. Once rarely heard, countertenors are now firmly established on the operatic stage and concert platform and their popularity has reached an all-time high. This album features virtuosic highlights from baroque opera and showcases the extraordinary abilities of five astonishing artists: Max Emanuel Cencic, Yuriy Mynenko, Valer Sabadus, Xavier Sabata and Vince Yi.

The Times, 28th March 2015
Some freakishly high and squeaky moments aside, it's an enjoyable collection of stonking baroque arias, mostly fast and virtuosic.

BBC Music Magazine, June 2015
Lisitsa brings grace and warmth to a collection of works by Glass, which includes solo piano arrangements from cinematic scores to The Truman Show and The Hours.

Gramophone Magazine, June 2015
Glass has rarely been played with as much care shown to the subtle nuances of his minimalist style and aesthetic...one cannot deny the inherent musicality that lies at the heart of Lisitsa's playing. If nothing else, she proves here that Glass's music can sound stunning when given a more self-consciously Romantic treatment.

American Record Guide, September/October 2015
All of the selections are accompanied expertly by the Armonia Atenea, an instrumental group specializing in this music, conducted by George Petrou. There is a booklet with texts and an interesting essay about the selections and the countertenor voice. I wish there were bios of the five excellent singers.
