"It's chemistry - you cannot force it or fake it" says Vladimir Jurowski of his critically acclaimed relationship with the London Philharmonic Orchestra - "you just accept it!" Indeed, the strength of that bond between orchestra and conductor was sealed by his appointment as the London Philharmonic Orchestra's twelfth Principal Conductor from 2007. This DVD documents Jurowski's first appearance in this role, which was also the first filmed concert from the newly restored Royal Festival Hall.
