LIVE RECORDING FROM THE MUNICH PHILHARMONIE, 1997=Pianist Chick Corea and vibraphonist Gary Burton are both numbered among the jazz greats of our day, both winning coveted Grammy awards in 1999. In 1972 they recorded the highly successful Crystal Silence album together - the title track, composed by Corea has gone on to become a well-known jazz standard. This featured DVD records their first appearance as a duo for many years, which took place at the Philharmonie in Munich in 1997.="Both Corea and Burton are eloquent soloists and their musical approaches are utterly compatible... their continuing collaboration is one of jazz's great delights."
