Notes & Reviews:

Following on the heels of his 2009 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition win in 2009, Japanese pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii experienced a dream come true as he appeared on the stage of Carnegie Hall. His brilliant technique and beautiful tone showed through an extraordinary recital contrasting pianistic warhorses with newer pieces, including his own composition in memory of the victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami in 2011.

MusicWeb International
'A profound and bewitching talent' is how I described the young Japanese pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii. Blind since birth he gave an enthralling and varied recital at Carnegie Hall in November 2011 that soon exhausted my supply of superlatives. In a world full of note-perfect prodigies this thoughtful, impassioned artist is one to watch. The Blu-ray sound and picture are excellent.
