Notes & Reviews:

Founded by flutist Marya Martin in 1984, the Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival is pleased to release the world premiere recording of a BCMF co-commission from Howard Shore – a song cycle, A Palace Upon the Ruins, featuring mezzo-soprano Jennifer Johnson Cano, and the rarely heard Alan Boustead reconstruction of Brahms' original instrumentation for his Serenade No. 1. The recording reflects the Festival's continuing commitment to the promotion and documentation of seminal chamber works, including those it has premiered or commissioned. Produced by Grammy award winner Adam Abeshouse.
