Notes & Reviews:

Pianist Emil Gilels, like his countryman Sviatoslav Richter, enjoyed visiting Mozart's beloved city of Prague. Here they felt free to set aside their Slavic repertoire in order to pay him tribute. In this latest addition to Praga's Genuine Stereo Lab series, Gilels plays a Mozart sonata coupled with Brahms's early Ballades and late Fantasias.
