Notes & Reviews:

Wind Symphony is the premier instrumental ensemble at Concordia Univ. Chicago. This 60-member organization maintains an active performance schedule, having performed in schools, churches and concert halls in 43 states, Canada, Europe and China, and was the "Showcase Ensemble" for the March 2014 NYC Wind Band Festival at Carnegie Hall. The Symphony has a commitment to the finest traditional and contemporary sacred and secular repertoire. Dr. Richard Fischer is in his 42nd year as director of bands at CUC. Available on Mark Records, Banners of Concord includes four world premiere recordings.
