Notes & Reviews:
Luis de Pablo's fondness for the flute, well documented by the works contained on this CD, stems back to his childhood years. He first encountered the instrument quite by chance, when his aunt gave him a flute she had bought in an antiques shop. It was a 19th-century flute and Luis, who was about 10 years old, started to play it almost like a game, mostly out of curiosity and fascination. His interest soon turned into a passion for music, and he began to study the flute at the Conservatory in Madrid.
