American Record Guide, May/June 2016
Another recording with a title. All fine and good. This is a mixed program on the 1935 Aeolian- Skinner organ in St Malachy's Church, known as the Actors' Chapel, as it is found in the theater district in New York. The organ sounds splendid in the resonant acoustic and has some wonderful colors, which are heard to great advantage in the Marais and Karg-Elert pieces. The playing is clean and efficient. The booklet has extensive notes on the music, performer, and organ.
