Notes & Reviews:

Le Coq d'Or tells the tale of a warrior Tsar, a mage, a golden rooster and a mysterious princess. The mage offers the Tsar a magical rooster that will guarantee him and his kingdom protection in exchange for an unspecified future favor. This is the starting point of this famous fairy tale by Alexander Pushkin. With a storybook illustrated by Etienne Guiol and music performed by The Percussions Claviers de Lyon, this most Russian of stories is brought to light (in French) by the magical voice of narrator Denis Podalyds.
