Notes & Reviews:

The Prodigies album is a broad-ranging collection of virtuoso minatures for duet and dazzling solo works with the Auvergne Orchestra. The programme includes movements from Vivaldi's Four Seasons with which Camille ignited the stage live on France 2 TV, Bach's Double Concerto, Sarasate's Navarra, Brahm's Hungarian Dance No. 1, the searing theme from Schindler's List, and a personal favorite of Camille's Edith Piaf's La Vie en Rose. Gautier Capucon joins Camille in Piazzolla's soulful Oblivion.

Born in 1999, the Franco-Swiss musician Camille Berthollet began cello at the age of four. Fromthe age of eight, alongside the cello, Camille undertook violin classes. Camille shot to fame in France and abroad in 2014, at the age of 15, when she was hailed winner in the first edition of the young talent competition Prodigies produced by Shine France, televised on France 2 and watched by 4.5 million viewers. She signed an exclusive recording contract with Warner Classics and this album marks her premier recoding accompanied by her sister, pianist Guillaume Vincent, and the Auvergne Orchestra, with Gautier Capucon as special guest.
