Notes & Reviews:

The Busch Quartet was particularly admired for its interpretations of Brahms, Schubert and above all Beethoven. This collection of 16 CDs contains the complete recordings for Warner Classics.

Adolf Busch (1891-1952), Adolf Busch was a German violinist and composer. In 1912 Busch founded the Busch Quartet which became the nucleus of the Busch Chamber Players, a forerunner of modern chamber orchestras.
