Notes & Reviews:

The horn duo, MirrorImage, commissioned all the works on this recording with a central theme: Safari. This bold experiment in thematic commissioning has resulted in a variety of new repertoire. Some composers chose to write about animals, and others about journeys that take place in various and interesting ways.

Reviews

Great Horn playing - pleasant & interesting works
Beautiful tone from both players, and these compositions, commissioned for the duo are lots of fun to hear. Many are beautiful, and none are harsh. They show off the many personalities the instrument is capable of.
