The Toronto Consort is a leading early music ensemble with seven previous Marquis CDs. This is a re-release (of a Dorian album) which has been out of print and much in demand. The Toronto Consort is renowned for their brilliant programming and performances.

Recently the ensemble has been called upon to produce music for a variety of historical-drama TV series, including The Tudors, The Borgias and The Vikings, all produced by the cable network, Showtime. The Toronto Consort recorded the soundtrack for Atom Egoyan's award-winning film The Sweet Hereafter.
