Notes & Reviews:

Music from all four seasons of the hit PBS British period drama starring Emmy® and Golden Globe® winner Jeremy Piven. Original score by Emmy®-nominated composer Charlie Mole. Season 4 premieres on PBS on March 30.

Mr. Selfridge is the hit British period television drama that is starting its fourth season on PBS this March. Starring Emmy® and Golden Globe® winner Jeremy Piven in the title role, the series is set in the early 1900s and tells the story of Harry Gordon Selfridge and his groundbreaking department store in London. Mr. Selfridge is based on the book Shopping, Seduction & Mr. Selfridge written by Lindy Woodhead and on the true history of events. In 1909, American retailer, the dashing Mr. Selfridge, relocates from Chicago to London intent on building the world's largest department store. The series showcases the trials and tribulations of not only Mr. Selfridge's business, but that of his personal life and the lives of the employees who work at the store.

British composer Charlie Mole was nominated for an Emmy Award® for his score for Mr. Selfridge in 2013, but is perhaps better known in Hollywood from the quality of films that he has scored. His witty and graceful score to An Ideal Husband won numerous international awards and established him as a leading international composer. He is also one of the UK's top pop/R&B songwriters having written for and with Chaka Khan, Kylie Minogue, Angie Stone and Lenny Kravitz. This rare combination has enabled him to include end title songs in his film scores. His song "Never Miss the Water" performed by Chaka Khan was a No. 1 dance hit in the U.S. and was featured on the hit TV shows Friends and The Sopranos.
