Album Remarks & Appraisals:

Gilles Peterson has a longstanding relationship with MPS, spanning over three decades to 1980s London when Peterson was only beginning his Radio personality career. Peterson showed a talent for being able to pair classics from jazz masters with unknown repertoire. This album offers an example of Peterson's talent for compiling tracks to present an outstanding program. Today, Peterson hosts a Saturday afternoon BBC Radio 6 Music radio show. He also broadcasts internationally on such platforms as Radio Nova, FM4, Radio X, Funkhaus Europa, and InterFM.
