Notes & Reviews:

WHY NOT... play keyboard works of J.S. Bach on the organ, especially the world-famous instrument in the Basilica of the Royal Convent of Saint-Maximin? Jean-Sbastien Bardon is convinced that any of Bach s music for keyboard can be interpreted just as beautifully on the organ!

Organist Jean-Sebastien Bardon is sets out to prove with this album that any keyboard work written by J. S. Bach- even those normally performed on harpsichord- are equally as beautiful performed on the organ. Bardon is a trained pianist, but performs on the organ like second nature. The organ used is the magnificent and famous instrument inside the Basilica of the Royal Convent of Saint-Maximin.
