Album Remarks & Appraisals:
The year is 1969, and the music world is in a frenzy. Otis Redding tells us it's groovin time, Jim Morrison demands to be touched, B.B. King laments that the thrill is gone, and while Janis Joplin encourages him to try a little bit harder, Crosby Stills & Nash have boarded the Marrakesh express. It is at this very moment that Natalia M. King decides to be born - because she is the kind of woman who decides that life is the color of her music.
Natalia M. King walks the line between blues, rock, and anything else she chooses to place in her musical landscape. She has performed more than 100 concerts across Europe and the United States, and has recorded albums which have been eagerly accepted by her fans and critics alike. This is Natalia's first release with Challenge Classics. All of the songs on this release are Natalia's original compositions, except for the final track which was composed by Fred Neil. They go beyond musical genre, although her blues and jazz influences leave a heavy footprint on these works. The included booklet includes a poetic description of the artist by Emmanuel Bourdier as well as lyrics to each of the songs featured.
