Nicolo Paganini (1782-1840) was known above all for his virtuosic violin performances. He was also a violist, guitarist, and composer. For this new release, Paganini's Tre Duetti Concertanti per Violino e Fagotto have been chosen. These works for violin and bassoon were composed around 1800. Performing these works is the Apollo Ensemble: violinist Daphne Oltheten and bassoonist Thomas Oltheten.Notes & Reviews:
