Notes & Reviews:

Chinese pianist Haiou Zhang is one of his generation's most successful classical solo musicians. After studying at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, Zhang has gone on to perform in Berlin, Toronto, Paris, New York, Shanghai, and on numerous other concert stages across the world. Zhang founded his own music festival in Buxtehude in 2010. His philosophy is to draw young people closer to the world of classical music and to discover young talents. "... in music once considered technically unplayable and musically incomprehensible, Haiou Zhang recreates a visionary masterpiece and a landmark in the history of music with exceptional grandeur and lucidity(... _) Haiou Zhang is a most serious artist."
