This recording of Boulez conducting Boulez comprises world-premiere recordings of the Maestro's revised versions of "Repons" and "Dialogue de l'Ombre Double". Using technology developed at IRCAM, Boulez's desire was to maintain a coherence in "Repons" between the world of instrumental music and electronics. The music is surprisingly lyrical and approachable.
