This unique program includes a variety of music, from classical works from composers like Ravel and Debussy to twentieth century works from George Gershwin. French percussionist Jean-Francois Durez specializes in marimba and piano performance. While studying at the Paris Conservatoire, he received the first prize for percussion and piano accompaniment, analysis, sight reading, and chamber music. Durez performs with the Orchestre des Concerts Lamoureux and the Orchestre de la Garde Republicaine.
