Notes & Reviews:

Well ahead of the Holiday season, The Choir of St. John's College along with their director Andrew Nathsingha present this new release featuring brand new Christmas Music. Opening the album is a work commissioned by former St. John's organ scholar Stephen Cleobury: "The Shepherd's Carol" by Bob Chilcott's. Two works commissioned by the choir are featured, Michael Finnissy's "John The Baptist," and Judith Bingham's "The Clouded Heaven." The Choir of St. John's College is one of the finest choral ensembles of men and boys, and have been recognized for their distinctive sound and as a cornerstone of the English choral music tradition since the seventeenth century.
