Part of the Chinnichap stable of bubblegum glam-rockers, Smokey (or, as they were briefly called, "Smokie") recorded this charming, melodic debut album in 1974 and released it in '75. It didn't take the world, or even their home country, by storm, but it opened some doors for the talented band, who then toured with the band Pilot. While the band's sound grew more sophisticated on their next releases, this debut is well worth owning as a period piece and a pleasurable listen.
