Notes & Reviews:

This new release from Trio Enescu follows their acclaimed debut album with GENUIN. Recently, the ensemble won First Prize at the International Chamber Music Competition Helexpo in Thessaloniki and Prize of the Austrian Brahms Society. This album features early piano trios by their namesake, George Ensecu, as well as Anton Arensky. Enescu's work is especially intriguing, as it shows how passionate music written by a seventeen year old can be.
