This album presents a choral interpretation of Pyotr Il'yich Tchaikovsky's Sixteen Songs for Children. Many consider this cycle one of Tchaikovsky's "blank spots" in his repertoire. Some of the songs are very well know but performances and recordings are generally performed singularly. The recordings on this album were made in 2015, the year of Tchaikovsky's 125th anniversary and were the fruit of a collaboration between Alexei Goribol and the boy choir of the Glinka Choir College.Notes & Reviews:
